January 2010

2010 is here and it is time to get back into a good routine of learning and fun. Our theme this month is Winter things and its a good thing since we have received a decent amount of snow so far. We will be working on the letters J-M and their sounds as well as learning how to write them. Students going to kindergarten next year should practice writing their name daily. Recognizing the letters and their sounds are key as well (for kindergarten).

Now that there is plenty of snow on the roads please use caution when you drop off or pick up students. Please remind students to stay on the sidewalk and not walk through the snow so we can keep the sidewalks clear and slip free. Remember if Shelley School District is out of school for bad weather or roads I will close as well. If this happens I will call you and let you know.
